A new year is here and that means it’s time to plan and execute your 2023 strategy!

 

The creator economy has grown exponentially. Since 2020, we have seen 165+ Million new creators. With more influencers than ever before, the influencer marketing industry is only going to continue growing in 2023. Globally, the influencer marketing industry was worth $16.4B in 2022—about an 18.1% increase from 2021. 

 

Consumers have been preferring authentic content, and this is only becoming truer. Audiences truly prefer to see influencers promoting products they believe in and use. In fact, 83% of users were influenced to purchase products because of trending content. 

 

We wanted to share our four tips that will get our pet influencers ready for 2023:

 

1. Have a plan.

2. Know your niche.

If the market is saturated with influencers who are all trying to do the same thing as you, then you need to be different in some way so that consumers can find value in your product or service.

 

3. Think out your content

to benefit your followers and make sure they feel like they’re getting something valuable out of their experience with you rather than just buying a product or service because it’s trendy at the moment.

 

4. Remember who your target audience really is!

It’s easy to forget who you’re actually trying to connect with when you get caught up in trends or other influencers’ successes; however, if they aren’t interested in what you have to offer them then there’s no point in trying anyway!
