1. INFLUENCER

2. ENGAGEMENT

Engagement refers to the level of interaction an influencer’s content receives from their followers. This includes likes, comments, and shares.

 

3. ENGAGEMENT RATE

The engagement rate is the percentage of an influencer’s followers who engage with their content. Typically, this is calculated by dividing the total number of likes and comments by the total number of followers.

 

4. REACH

Reach refers to the number of unique users who have seen an influencer’s content. Brands love working with pet influencers with a wide reach!

 

5. IMPRESSIONS

Impressions refer to the number of times an influencer’s content has been seen, regardless of whether it was clicked on. This differs a bit from reach. If one person sees your content multiple times, that means you had multiple impressions from that one person.

 

6. QUALITY AUDIENCE

A quality audience refers to a group of individuals who are highly engaged and relevant to the brand or product being promoted by the influencer.

 

7. SPONSORED CONTENT

Sponsored content is content created by an influencer paid for by a brand. It can also be affiliate partnerships, PR packages, or other sponsored content.

 

8. CAMPAIGN

A campaign is a coordinated set of activities designed to achieve a specific goal, such as increasing brand awareness or driving sales. Brands can manage multiple influencers a campaign, so you might be working alongside other animal talent!

 

9. BRAND AMBASSADOR

A brand ambassador is a pet influencer who has an ongoing relationship with a brand. They promote their products or services over an extended period. Occasionally, it requires exclusivity.

 

10. CASTING CALL

Casting calls are tools for brands and pet influencers to connect and collaborate on projects. These occur before production occurs, and it allows the brand to select influencers that fit their needs.

 

11. CAMPAIGN

One influencer is selected from a casting call, it becomes a campaign. This is the phase where you begin creating content, getting approval, and posting the content.

 

12. CLICK-THROUGH RATE

CTR, or click-through rate, is a metric used to measure the percentage of people who click on a link in an influencer’s content.

 

13. RETURN ON INVESTMENT

ROI, or return on investment, is a measure of the effectiveness of an influencer marketing campaign in terms of the revenue generated compared to the cost of the campaign.

 

14. INFLUENCER PLATFORM

21: USER-GENERATED CONTENT

UGC, or user-generated content, is any content created by fans or followers of a brand or influencer, typically shared on social media.

 

22. CALL TO ACTION

A CTA is a prompt or request that encourages viewers of influencer content to take a specific action, such as following a link or making a purchase.
